Job Description
Velmenni is looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer with robust R&D; expertise in electronic hardware product design and development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in schematic design, PCB design, prototyping, debugging, and hardware validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic hardware systems from concept to production
- Work on schematic capture and multilayer PCB design (preferably 6–7 layer boards)
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
- Support product R&D; activities and continuous design improvements
- Ensure compliance with design standards and quality requirements
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Hardware Design & R&D;
- Expertise in Analog & Digital Circuit Design
- Experience in PCB Design and Schematic Tools
- Knowledge of multilayer PCB design (6–7 layers preferred)
- Hands-on debugging and testing skills using lab instruments
- Understanding of EMI/EMC and signal integrity concepts
- Experience with microcontrollers/processors and power electronics is preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 7–10 years of relevant hardware design experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in product development lifecycle
- Candidate should have more exposure to design/R&D; work rather than only PCB layout work
