The role:
Working with senior leadership, leading and influencing bidding strategy, ensuring effective implementation of industry-leading bids, pitches and proposals, including associated digital and video editorial, in support of the Mace Group business plan targets and aspirations.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping priorities, strategy and work-winning outcomes across the Engine.
- Leads resource planning, talent development and high-performing teams, fostering growth, capability and excellence.
- Drives market insight, capture planning and opportunity development to strengthen Mace’s competitive position.
- Leads the delivery of client-focused, high-quality bids, ensuring governance, compliance and on-time submission.
- Champions innovation,
continuous improvement and best practice to enhance win rates and business performance.
- Builds influential stakeholder relationships, supporting growth, client excellence, brand development and net zero ambitions.
You’ll need to have:
- Proven leadership in resource planning, workload management and talent development.
- Extensive capture, bid and proposal delivery expertise within complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, influencing senior leaders and business partners.
- Proficient in creating compelling content, presentations, microsites and supporting media.
- Advanced capability with Microsoft 365, Mural and bid management platforms.
- Data-driven, analytical and solutions-focused, with sound professional judgement.
- Highly organised, adaptable and committed to quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Experience within qualified services, translating strategy into impactful client communications.
