Role Purpose-

The Assistant Manager- Engineering -Senior Authorized Person (SAP) is responsible for providing leadership, governance, and technical authority over all High Voltage (HV) electrical systems. The role ensures safe design, operation, maintenance,



and compliance with internal standards, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.

The SAP acts as the highest level of site (or group) electrical authority for HV operations and ensures risks associated with HV systems are effectively controlled.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities-

Key Accountabilities
- Safe operation of all High Voltage systems under control
- Compliance with High Voltage safety standards and legal requirements
- Competency and authorization of High Voltage personnel
- Explicit accountability for HV Permit to Work, Sanction to Test, Limitation of Access, permit audits and compliance verification.
- Reduction of electrical risk (shock, arc flash, system failures)
- Take care of all the Government related audits & inspection
