The Quality Assurance Manager provides quality support to assigned production operations to ensure product and process integrity. This role focuses on driving continuous quality improvement toward zero defect performance and supporting process improvement initiatives through structured problem-solving and quality systems.
- Ensure product quality integrity across Machining, Heat Treatment, and Assembly operations
- Drive continuous quality improvement aligned with customer and business requirements
- Support production teams using structured problem-solving tools and statistical analysis
- Ensure process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and process validation
- Lead New Product Development through APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP
- Maintain complete traceability of materials, batches, and process records
- Implement effective change management and process validations
- Ensure effective incoming, in-process, and final inspection systems
- Monitor defects, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions
- Analyze metallurgical test and heat treatment results for defect reduction
- Ensure customer-specific requirements compliance
- Drive poka‑yoke and mistake-proofing systems
- Lead FPY improvement and scrap reduction initiatives
- Conduct Line Quality Audits and Layered Process Audits (LPA)
- Lead internal, customer, product, and process audits and close findings
- Apply robust inspection, MSA, and measurement system knowledge
- Drive Change Management and Calibration compliance
- Train shop floor teams on quality and problem-solving tools
