Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our company's operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, workflow optimization, and supply chain logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize inventory levels,
minimizing discrepancies and ensuring accurate stock countsDevelop and implement inventory planning strategies to meet demand while minimizing holding costsStreamline workflows across departments to improve efficiency and productivityNegotiate carrier rates and manage relationships with logistics partnersEstablish and implement recent operations systems and processesAnalyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reductionLead and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industryProven track record in inventory management and optimizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with ERP systems and inventory management softwareExcellent negotiation and communication skillsLeadership experience with a focus on team development
Desired Skills
Six Sigma or Lean Management certificationExperience with implementing and managing automated inventory systemsKnowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
