Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Tax Accountant at a growing U.S.-based company. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for helping us scale operations, with a solid preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.

Qualifications

Language requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese is required and non-negotiable

Experience: 3+ years of related experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is required
- Proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax
- Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin – verbal and written.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment




- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Willing and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocols

Responsibilities
- Prepare and file personal and business tax returns
- Handle sales tax and payroll tax filings
- Review client-provided financial information and ensure accuracy
- Communicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlines
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentation
- Be available for extended hours during tax season

​​​​Compensation

$ 1,500 - $ 2,500 per month, paid in USD depending on experience.
