About the Prospect

Our client is a leading manufacturing organization in industrial sheet metal products and furniture, seeking an experienced Manager – Maintenance (Electrical & Automation, CNC & Robotics) to lead the plant maintenance function and ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency. The role requires a technically strong Electrical Engineer with hands-on expertise in automation-driven manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete maintenance function of the plant, ensuring optimum performance of all production machinery and equipment.
- Manage a maintenance team of supervisors and technicians across shifts.
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, electronic, automation, CNC, robotics, PLC, and control systems.
- Ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity of manufacturing equipment.
- Plan maintenance schedules, shutdown activities, and equipment overhauls.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets,



vendor performance, and AMC contracts.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Plant Operations teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing.

Machinery & Equipment Exposure

The candidate should have hands-on experience in maintenance of one or more of the following:
- CNC Machines & Automated Production Equipment
- Robotic Welding Systems
- Powder Coating Plants & Ovens
- Laser / Plasma / Sheet Metal Cutting Machines
- CNC Bending & Press Brake Machines
- Material Handling Systems
- Electrical Panels, VFDs, Servo Drives & Motors
- PLC, HMI, SCADA & Industrial Automation Systems
