Role Overview
As a Data Processing Technician, you will play a key role in transforming raw survey and geospatial data into accurate, high quality deliverables that support engineering, infrastructure and environmental projects across the UK. Working as part of our technical delivery team, you will process data captured using a range of advanced technologies including terrestrial laser scanners, drones, GNSS equipment and mobile mapping systems.




This role offers an excellent prospect for an experienced data processor to further develop their technical expertise while working with some of the latest geospatial technologies in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and managing survey data collected from LiDAR scanners, GNSS equipment, drones and NavVis mobile mapping systems
- Registering, aligning, classifying and cleaning point cloud datasets using software such as Leica Cyclone, Register 360 and NavVis IVION
- Producing high-quality deliverables including registered point clouds, orthophotos, digital terrain models (DTMs), digital surface models (DSMs), 3D mesh models and topographical outputs
- Importing, converting and analysing geospatial data to meet project and client specifications
- Preparing client ready reports, data summaries and graphical outputs using Microsoft Excel
- Collaborating closely with Surveyors and field teams to validate data, identify
