Purpose:

Responsible
for the work delivered by the department. Establishes, in collaboration with
the VFX Supervisor and other Department Supervisors, the working methods of
his team, taking into account the requirements of the pipeline, both
technical/methodological, present and future. Supervises, guides and develops
team and acts as mentor of respective specialty.

Activities:

1. Continuously monitor the quality of output for
improved cost of quality

2. Build a team for bidding support and hold
responsibility

3. Plan and coordinate technical aspects for the show

4. Foresee technical issues and its impact on quality
and delivery timeline

5. Improve pipeline through-put continuously

6. Continuously scan market for best practices and stay
updated

7. Identify implementable best practices and implement
seamlessly

8. Define competency levels and achieve competency
index for the practice

9. Plan and execute knowledge sharing sessions

10. Identify lessons learnt and opportunities list from




show closure reports for action

11. Continuously review and update recruitment tools and
training modules

12. Create and manage the repository of training
libraries, application tools

13. Create and manage the repository of show reels for
future showcases

14. Identify areas of automation for pipeline efficiency

Requirements
1. Minimum 7 years’
experience as a respective speciality artist

2. Of which
atleast 5 years’ experience as a supervisor on several visual effects
productions.

3. Thorough
understanding of the Pipeline

4. Must have outstanding interpersonal and communications
skills

5. Capable of
motivating and leading large teams with enthusiasm

6. Calm and
able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

7. Ability to manage time and balance priorities

8. Experience
with Tactic, an asset

9. Must be available for flexible schedules /
shift
