Location: Kolkata / Possible of Remote (Shift requested from 3 PM till 11 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and monitor Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, and other related technologies.
- Oversee the integration of data from Oracle Flexcube and other source systems into the Cloudera Data Platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and processes.
- Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Hadoop administration processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration, preferably in the banking sector.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Cloudera Data Platform, Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing Hadoop clusters.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in Hadoop administration or related fields is a plus.
