Role Summary
JLL is seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Software Engineer 3 (P3) to join our Workplace Digital Technology (WDT) team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of mission-critical, scalable software systems that power JLL’s digital workplace platforms. You will act as a technical anchor—driving architectural decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring engineering excellence across the full application lifecycle.
Your work will directly impact global workplace experiences for JLL clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex features and platform capabilities, from concept through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Architect and develop robust, high-performance, cloud-native applications using up-to-date full-stack technologies and microservices patterns.
- Drive technical strategy for system scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability; influence platform-wide engineering standards.
- Champion engineering best practices—including test automation, observability, CI/CD maturity, and “shift-left” quality—across multiple teams.
- Collaborate deeply with Product Management, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and refine technical roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.
- Mentor and coach Software Engineers (P2/P3), providing guidance on code quality, design patterns
