We are seeking an
STA (Supplier Technical Assistance) Manager to be based out of our partners facility located in Chennai (Tamil Nadu). This person will dual report to our Group Purchasing Manager based in Thailand, and our Operations Plant Quality Manager based in Australia, and would need to act as a direct liaison with our partner to ensure that effective automotive VMI processes are in place.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our engineering processes and supplier relations.



The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our engineering teams.

Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical assistance to suppliers on product specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance protocols.
- During the Recent Model Program phase, lead the supplier reviews related to part quality, checking fixtures and PPAP preparations. Monitor and drive delivery of parts at quality on time based on program launch planning
- Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts of good quality.
- Conduct regular assessments of supplier capabilities, processes, and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
