This role combines hands-on technical depth, solution design, and leadership of a development team. The architect will define architecture, provide direction, eliminate technical roadblocks, and ensure high-quality delivery across the entire engineering team. Key Responsibilities 1. Architecture & Solution Design Lead end-to-end technical architecture for the BigCommerce B2B website. Design components covering storefront, integrations, pricing, catalog, user roles, and workflows. Prepare architecture diagrams, data flow models, integration designs, and API specifications. Define best practices for performance, scalability, and security. Drive headless commerce or Stencil-based architecture as needed.



2. Platform Expertise Deep understanding of: BigCommerce platform & APIs (REST/GraphQL) BigCommerce B2B Edition (Company Accounts, POs, Roles, Custom Pricing, Quick Order Pad) Multi-storefront setup, channel configuration, catalogs, storefront search Guide theme development (Stencil framework) or front-end development (React/Next.js). 3. Technical Leadership & Development Oversight Break down requirements into technical tasks and assign work to the development team. Provide hands-on guidance during development, troubleshooting, and design issues. Remove technical bottlenecks quickly and proactively. Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards, and maintain architectural consistency. Collaborate closely with PM, BA, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery. 4.
