ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:

MuleSoft Platform is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical architecture of Amgen’s Enterprise MuleSoft Platform. This senior-level, individual contributor role focuses on defining and implementing the platform's infrastructure vision, shaping its roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise integration strategy.
You will work closely with key stakeholders—including platform architects, engineers, and security teams—to understand business and technical requirements, design scalable and secure API integration solutions,



and maintain adherence to enterprise architecture standards. This role emphasizes infrastructure design, cloud-native enablement, runtime architecture, and DevOps integration within the MuleSoft ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement core platform capabilities for MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including Runtime Fabric, VPCs, load balancing, and hybrid networking
- Design and manage containerized MuleSoft deployments on Kubernetes
- Lead design of API integrations that leverage AWS-native services such as S3
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate MuleSoft deployments using Docker, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Write platform-level automation and tooling in Python, shell, or similar for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring
- Drive platform observability, logging, and performance optimization in coordination with cloud engineering and security t
