Job Purpose: The CA Commercial Zonal Head is responsible for managing Mine Development Operator (MDO) contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and timelines. They act as a liaison between the mine owner and the MDO, coordinating with various teams to facilitate project execution, secure necessary permissions, and resolve any ambiguities or disputes. The Zonal Head ensures all tasks are completed on time,
safeguards parties against regulatory issues, and manages financial transactions related to the project.

Contractual Compliance and Strategic Oversight
*Ensure a comprehensive understanding of all contractual modalities and clauses as per Coal Block/Mine Development and Production Agreement (CBDPA/CMDPA) for commercial coal blocks with Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal and Mine Developer and Operator (MDO) agreements with Mine Owner PSUs
*Monitor and enforce compliance with time-bound obligations, managing updates to contract documentation.
*Lead the execution of development stage requirements, coordinating with mine owners to confirm mutual adherence to contractual obligations.
