Role Summary:
We are looking for a Tech Compliance Manager to manage technical, product and certification-related compliance for our carpet, rug and home furnishing manufacturing operations.
The role will involve understanding customer requirements, translating them into applicable compliance requirements, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet the required technical and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in technical compliance from the manufacturing side, preferably in carpets, rugs, textiles, home furnishings or a closely related industry.
This is not a labour or social compliance role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Understand and align customer technical and compliance requirements with internal manufacturing processes.
· Review customer requirement documents, specifications and compliance standards.
· Identify the certifications, testing and documentation required for different products and customers.
· Manage and coordinate various product, environmental, chemical and technical certifications.
· Handle certifications such as OEKO-TEX, MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), GRS (Global Recycled Standard ) or other relevant textile/product certifications.
· Keep track of applicable requirements related to chemicals, hazardous substances, environmental standards and restricted substances.
· Coordinate with accredited laboratories, certification agencies and testing agencies for required testing and certifications.
· Ensure timely completion and renewal of certifications and compliance documents.
· Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D;, Purchase and other relevant teams to ensure compliance requirements are implemented at the manufacturing level.
