- We are seeking a talented and motivated Avaloq Software Engineer to join our team. As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing software and data structures while ensuring quality and performance standards. You will collaborate with other teams to support data migration, cleansing and enrichment, building and testing scripts, and reconciliation routines
- You’ll be experienced in Avaloq technologies, database management, and software development and have a deep understanding of the Avaloq Enterprise Wide Object Model

What you'll do
- Your work will be varied and will major in Avaloq and related technologies. Duties may include:
- Mapping Avaloq and other platform physical data to the NatWest Enterprise Data Model,
taking care to ensure conceptual terms are clearly defined and reference data standards are adhered to.
- Performing data quality checks on data according to defined dimensions and rules and develop options to enhance data quality - including developing Avaloq system functionality to mitigate the risk of poor data quality being introduced at source.
- Support options analysis, build and maintain persistent data profiling capability over master data sources, connecting with remote rule and results repositories.
- Work to optimise the outcomes of the Avaloq APDM, reviewing discarded items and defining treatment strategies as required and optimising rules and system performance also work to interface the APDM with external data minimisation orchestration systems.
