Job Description:
- Operate, calibrate and maintain GC (FID/TCD)
- Develop, validate and document GC methods for recent products — column selection, oven programming, split ratios and internal/external standard calibration.
- Analyze purity, isomer ratios and residual solvents in fatty acids, aldehydes and aromatic intermediates by GC area %.
- Prepare working standards, calibration curves and reference solutions; maintain traceability and stability records.
- Troubleshoot instrument issues — leak checks, baseline drift, ghost peaks, septum / liner / column replacement.
- Generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) and release finished goods against agreed customer specifications.
- Schedule preventive maintenance, AMC visits and instrument requalification (IQ / OQ / PQ).
- Manage consumables inventory — carrier and detector gases (N2, H2, He, Zero Air), columns, vials, syringes, KF reagent.
