About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Executive (Contract) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, processing vendor payments, managing reconciliations, and assisting with statutory compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.
What You'll Do
- Pass accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
- Perform ledger, vendor, customer, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in GST reconciliations, return preparation, and compliance activities.
- Process vendor payments and maintain complete payment documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare schedules and documentation required for internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain accounting records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare MIS reports and finance-related reports as required by management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting and statutory regulations.
- Support ad hoc accounting, finance, and compliance-related activities.
What We're Looking For
- B.Com degree from a recognized university.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with Tally
