Job Description:

Job Title: Sales Engineer – Process Equipment

Location: [Ahmedabad]
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Sales Head / General Manager – Sales

Role and Responsibilities:

Identify and develop current business opportunities for process equipment sales

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions

Prepare and deliver effective technical presentations and product demonstrations

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to close sales successfully

Provide technical guidance to customers regarding equipment specifications and applications

Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams for client-specific solutions

Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in target industries

Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events

Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs





Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

3–7 years of experience in sales of process equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, vessels, and storage tanks

Proven experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors

Experience in technical sales and understanding of industrial processing equipment

Preferred Skills:

In-depth technical knowledge of process equipment (e.g., reactors, centrifuges, storage tanks)

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams

Goal-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
