Company is currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team and help drive their projects from conception to completion.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have solid technical expertise in both residential and commercial building construction, with proficiency in site management, quantity surveying, and drafting. You will play a critical role in project planning, executing site operations safely, preparing documentation, and managing project costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution: Oversee and manage daily civil construction activities for residential and commercial building projects, ensuring work aligns with design specifications and timelines.
- Drafting & Design: Create, modify, and review technical construction drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD.
- Quantity Surveying: Accurately measure quantities, prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and track material usage on-site.
- Cost & Fluctuation Management: Monitor project budgets, analyze market rate and material cost fluctuations, and provide accurate cost estimates and variations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project records. Prepare and present project progress reports to management and clients using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Site Safety & Quality Control: Implement and strictly enforce site safety protocols and quality control standards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and site workers to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
