Position Overview: As a Machining Process New Product Development Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our client innovation and growth by leading the development of machining processes for new products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful introduction of current products into production, focusing on optimizing machining processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- New Product Development (NPD):
- Lead the machining process development for new products from concept through to production launch.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and optimize machining strategies early in the product development cycle.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on design for manufacturability (DFM) to improve machining efficiency and reduce costs.
- Process Optimization:
- Develop and optimize machining processes on casting or Forging (Machining, turning, milling, grinding, etc.) to achieve quality, cycle time, and cost targets.




- Utilize advanced machining techniques and technologies to enhance process capabilities and productivity.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on machining processes, providing guidance and technical support to engineering and production teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians in machining techniques, process troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to evaluate new technologies and improve machining capabilities.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure machining processes meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for machining-related quality issues.
- Drive adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the machining team.
