Job Description:

Job Summary

The Production Engineer is responsible for supervising Transformer Manufacturing activities including Fabrication, Tanking, Transformer Assembly, and Dispatch. The role ensures Production Targets, Quality Standards, and Safety Requirements are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Fabrication, Tanking, and Transformer Assembly Operations.
- Ensure Production Activities follow approved Engineering Drawings and Technical Specifications.
- Allocate Manpower and monitor Daily Production Targets.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality Assurance (QA), and Stores Departments.
- Monitor Productivity, minimize Production Losses, and improve Operational Efficiency.
- Ensure availability of Tools, Equipment, and Raw Materials.
- Verify Quality Inspection before Dispatch.
- Maintain Daily Production Reports and Production Records.
- Monitor Dispatch Schedules as per Customer Requirements.
- Ensure proper Packing, Loading, and Protected Dispatch of finished Transformers.




- Maintain Production Documentation and Dispatch Documentation.
- Implement 5S Methodology, Shop Floor Safety, and Housekeeping Practices.
- Reduce Production Downtime and improve Manufacturing Efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Procedures, SOPs, and Safety Standards.
- Report Production Status, Output, and Dispatch Progress to management.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering

Experience
- Experience in Transformer Manufacturing / Production Operations
