Role

Review translated sentences between Urdu and Hindi, and assess how accurately the meaning of the source has been conveyed in the translated version.

Example of the work

You will see a source sentence and its translation side by side, and rate how accurately the meaning has been transferred.

• Source (Urdu, Nastaliq): میں کل صبح بازار جاؤں گا۔

• Translation (Hindi in Roman script): Main kal subah bazaar jaunga.

• Your task: Judge whether the translation fully preserves the meaning, is partially correct, or is inaccurate — and tag it accordingly.

Who we are looking for

• Native Urdu speaker with strong reading proficiency in Nastaliq script

• Fluent in Hindi, including the ability to read Hindi written in Roman/Latin script

• Graduate in Urdu literature, Hindi, linguistics, translation studies, or journalism

• Prior experience in this kind of language evaluation or translation review work is preferred

• Based in India | Secure internet and personal computer required
