Our client is a 1976 established, Bengaluru headquartered family owned and managed leading light engineering mechanical products manufacturing company in India. They have 5 manufacturing units located in Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand and a couple of plants are IATF 16949 certified. The products are sold in both domestic and global markets.

Key responsibilities:
- Managing overall operation of the company which include - production, Current Product Development, Production planning, Materials management, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Administration, Compliance ,Industrial Relation, Finance and Accounts
- Strategize business expansion for all the manufacturing Units with P&L; responsibility.
- Optimisation of resources
- Building high performance team
- Co-ordinate with marketing team to keep track of the market dynamics and re-align production strategy




- Institutionalse lean practices and culture of continuous improvement.
- Improve manufacturing inventory turns, productivity gain and control expenses.
- Ensure statutory compliance of all manufacturing units.

Candidates Profile
- B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with about 20 years of experience Management qualification preferred.
- Experience of handling multiple manufacturing plants preferably in a Make to order eco-system.
- Expertise in CNC turning. Tube Assembly and Fabrication will be a definite advantage.
- Vast experience in plant Administration, HR and Industrial Relations.
- Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems like IATF 16949, ISO 14001 etc., and should have a systems approach to problem solving
- Strong Customer Relationship Management skills
