We are seeking an exceptional Principal Consultant to join our growing advisory team, with a focus on technical due diligence in data centres and digital infrastructure.
This role offers the prospect to work on hyperscale and colocation data centre platforms, edge infrastructure, and supporting digital ecosystems (including power, cooling, connectivity and real estate), while also providing exposure to a broader range of infrastructure sectors, including energy, transport and social infrastructure, across high-profile investment transactions and strategic advisory mandates.
Responsibilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting the delivery of technical and commercial due diligence assignments for investors, lenders, and developers across the data centre sector (hyperscale, colocation, and edge facilities).
- Assessing design basis and operational performance of data centres, including:
- Power infrastructure (grid connection, redundancy, backup systems)
- Cooling systems (air/liquid cooling, energy efficiency)
- IT load capacity and scalability
- Uptime / resilience standards (Tier classification)
- Supporting investment cases and business plans, including capex benchmarking, lifecycle costs, and expansion strategies.
- Advising on operational performance, asset management practices, and risk identification across portfolios.
