Job Description:
Our client is a leading furniture retailer known for its high-quality, stylish, and functional furniture collections. With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a vast range of products, we are expanding our operations in Hyderabad and seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, including hiring training, and performance management.
- Ensure the accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of furniture products.
- Oversee inventory control, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout to maximize storage space and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and clean work workplace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other logistics and sales departments to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs, such as productivity and accuracy.
- Handle customer returns and warranty claims efficiently.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating deliveries to customers and retail locations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items when necessary.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
