The impact you’ll make

As a RF Engineer at Lam, you play a crucial role in designing, building, and troubleshooting cutting-edge radio frequency (RF) solutions for power delivery and plasma generation in our Etch and Deposition products. Your role involves designing and analyzing subsystems, conducting experimental tests, and conducting simulations and analyzing results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the simulation, design, test, validation, and productization of process-critical assemblies and subsystems related to our Etch process modules.

What you’ll do
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of RF, high voltage designs, and EM modeling for the department.
- Acts as a resource and mentor for colleagues.
- Designs,



develops, and modifies highly complex RF delivery subsystems and components.
- Works with multidisciplinary engineering design teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Process) team to spec, design, validate, custom and OEM RF system components.
- Contributes to research and development efforts for future products and technology by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs.
- Perform hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterization of the performance of the electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
- Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences in design reviews.
- Leads cross-functional design teams and presents various stages of design reviews including conceptualization, design details, and test and validation data.
