Skills Required:
- At least 3 years IT-software experience of which 2 years should be in database management.
- In depth knowledge of database design for transactional and analytical usage scenarios.
- Extensive experience of working with MS SQL Server and MySQL and their respective toolsets.
- Understanding of conventional (relational) and alternative data structures and their applicability.
- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases with sql coding.
- Prepare documentations and specifications according to the changes that has been going.
- Robust proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements.
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases.
- Capable of troubleshooting common database procedure, functions and views issues.
- Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it.
- Advanced level of writing stored procedures, reading query plans, tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
- Good communication skills.
