A Day in the Life
The Global Pricing and Contracting IT team at Medtronic partners with commercial groups to develop AI and analytics-driven systems that improve pricing and contracting strategies. These tools generate insights to help maximize revenue, expand market share, and support global go-to-market efforts. The role offers strong exposure to Medtronic’s products, data, and commercial operations, along with opportunities for career growth in a diverse and inclusive setting focused on advancing healthcare.

The IT Tester role supports the design, testing, and optimization of technology solutions aligned with business requirements and architecture standards. Responsibilities include developing system specifications, executing and supporting testing activities, evaluating system performance and compatibility,



and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. The role also involves identifying and resolving system issues, supporting integrations, documenting technical specifications, and collaborating with cross functional teams and vendors to improve system reliability, performance, and user experience.

- Test Planning and Strategy
- Support creation and execution of test plans, including scope, timelines, and risk-based testing.
- Apply shift-left testing by engaging early in requirements discussions to identify risks and gaps.
- Contribute to risk-based and data-driven testing strategies and identify system weaknesses before release.
- Test Design and Development
- Design test scenarios, cases, and scripts (manual and automated) from business and functional requirements.
