Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

1. Installing Middleware products like WebSphere Application Server , WebSphere MQ, Apache Tomcat, Apache Web-server, IHS, Jboss.
2. Upgrading Middle-ware and Web-server products (WebSphere, MQ, etc...)
3. Doing Configuration changes in Middle-ware and Web-server level.
4. Deploying J2EE application & back-end resources.
5. Experience in Clustering & Session replication/persistence.
6. Troubleshooting Middleware and web-server issue.
7. Analyzing Appserver & webserver logs, thread dumps, verbose gc logs etc.
8. Raising PMR with IBM Support and coordinating with them (If required)
9. Working knowledge of WebSphere MQ.
10. Working knowledge of supported operating systems (e.g., AIX, Solaris, Linux on Intel, Windows)
11. Good understanding of messaging concepts as they relate to IBM WebSphere MQ
12. knowledge of operating WebSphere MQ Explorer
13. Solid understanding of JMS concepts
14. knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, SSL, etc.)
15. Ready to work in rotational 24/7 shifts.





Contributing Responsibilities

1. Ensure Standards are implemented across the ITIP organization to comply with Global Project Management Standards and continuous development.
2. Develop assess and select proper strategy for the projects considering performance, Cost, Time and Scope Constraints
3. Responsible to follow up and closing on all risk item identified by IG Audit or any other internal and external audits.
4. Responsible to develop ITIP Information Management Dashboards including risk analysis, current projects etc… for different functions / clients for ITIP.
5. Establish excellent working relationships with different functions across country.
6. Ensure rigorous follow up and communication to stakeholders on estimated delivery timelines of Projects.
7. Provide 24x7 in office and on-call support of Production systems on a rotation basis.
