Job Title: Manager – Distribution (Veterinary) Experience: 8–10 Years Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate with specialization in Supply Chain & Operations Management Systems Requirement: SAP knowledge (mandatory) Role Overview The Manager – Distribution (Veterinary) is responsible for overseeing end-to-end distribution operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, seamless logistics coordination, and effective CFA (Carrying & Forwarding Agent) management. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, process optimization skills, and hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a quick-paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Planning & Inventory Control Manage and optimize inventory flow from Manufacturer to Regional Warehouses (RWH) and CFAs. Ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Implement demand forecasting and replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels. 2. Demand vs Sales Analysis Monitor and analyze additional stock requirements against actual sales data. Identify gaps,
trends, and discrepancies to support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with sales teams to align inventory planning with market demand. 3. Transporter Management Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize transporters in line with company requirements. Draft and manage transporter agreements, ensuring compliance with cost and service standards. Monitor transporter performance and service levels. 4. Freight & Billing Operations Verify transport bills for accuracy and compliance with agreed terms. Ensure timely processing of reimbursements and cost control. Maintain transparency and audit readiness in all logistics-related expenses. 5. CFA Management Oversee end-to-end CFA operations, including: o Appointment and onboarding of stockists o Invoicing and dispatch coordination o Monitoring outstanding payments and credit control o Claims processing and settlement o Administration
