✨ We’re looking for a creative Junior Social Media Content Creator with exceptional video editing skills who knows how to turn raw footage, ideas, trends, and AI tools into engaging, high-retention social media content.
Strong video editing is one of the most important parts of this role. We are looking for someone who can edit YouTube and Instagram content at a very high standard, understands how to maximize retention and engagement through pacing, hooks, storytelling, captions, B-roll, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects, and can design skilled, highly clickable YouTube thumbnails and Instagram Reel covers.
You will not be required to appear on camera.
ApplyAZ is hiring a Junior Social Media Content Creator to support the daily creation, publishing, and management of content across our social media channels.
You will work with authentic footage recorded by our presenters and team, turning it into Reels, Shorts, Stories, carousel posts, graphics, LinkedIn posts, YouTube videos, and other platform-ready content.
This role is suitable for someone early in their career who already has strong practical video editing and content creation skills, understands what keeps people watching, enjoys experimenting with new formats, and wants to grow within a fast-moving international education company.
What You’ll Do
Edit authentic raw footage into high-retention Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks, Stories, and YouTube videos
Edit videos specifically for maximum watch time, retention, engagement, and platform performance
Use strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, jump cuts, B-roll, captions, sound effects, music, motion graphics, transitions, and visual elements to keep viewers engaged
Understand the differences between editing for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Create professional, highly clickable YouTube thumbnails, Instagram Reel covers, and social media cover designs
Create Instagram carousel posts, graphics, branded visuals, and other
