nPosition: Senior Design Engineer – Tooling, Dies & Fixtures
nLocation: Faridabad, Haryana
nExperience: Minimum 5 years in the sheet metal manufacturing industry
nWe are looking for a practical and experienced Design Engineer who can connect design decisions with real shop floor requirements.
nKey responsibilities:

- n
- Design progressive dies, tandem/stage dies, jigs, fixtures and inspection gaugesn
- Evaluate components and select the most suitable tooling concept—progressive or tandemn
- Relate tool design to press tonnage, machine capacity, material utilization and production volumen
- Optimize tooling for cycle time, productivity, quality and ease of manufacturingn
- Support tool development, trials, troubleshooting and production improvementsn
- Coordinate closely with the Tool Room, NPD, Production and Quality teamsn
nRequired capabilities:

- n
- Robust working knowledge of SolidWorks and/or Siemens NXn
- Hands-on experience in sheet-metal press tool designn
- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, tool feasibility and press-shop operationsn
- Ability to develop practical, cost-effective and production-ready designsn
- Experience in designing jigs, fixtures and gaugesn
- Strong problem-solving skills and a holistic approach—from component feasibility to successful productionn
