Job Description:

The Site O&M; Engineer / Lead will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and maintenance activities at the solar power plant to ensure maximum plant availability, optimal performance, and strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end site-level O&M; activities for solar power plants, including preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Monitor plant performance, generation data, and losses; identify gaps and drive corrective actions.

Coordinate with central monitoring teams to ensure high plant availability and PR (Performance Ratio).

Supervise site technicians, vendors, and subcontractors for O&M; activities.

Ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance, module cleaning, inverter servicing, and equipment inspections.

Handle fault diagnosis, root cause analysis,



and restoration of plant operations within defined TATs.

Maintain site documentation, including logbooks, maintenance records, SOPs, and statutory registers.

Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines, electrical safety standards, and company policies.

Support audits, inspections, and coordination with OEMs, EPCs, and external stakeholders.

Assist in spares planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination at the site level.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering.

3–8 years of hands-on experience in site-level O&M; of solar power plants.
