Job Description
- Evaluate and analyze purchase requirements for materials, equipment, or services based on project specifications or organizational needs
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors, assess their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
- Source and select suppliers based on factors such as cost, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procurement policies and procedures
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, and production teams, to understand their requirements and provide timely procurement support
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions, specifications, and technical documents to ensure alignment with project needs and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements
- Track and monitor supplier performance, including delivery schedules, product quality,
