The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who understands that social media is not just about posting three times a week.

It’s about knowing what people are talking about, why they care, what will make them stop scrolling, and how a brand can earn a place in that conversation.

You’ll work across Mettle and our client brands, collaborating with strategists, designers, content creators and founders to turn ideas into social content that people actually want to consume.

Some days, you’ll be writing a killer hook.

Some days, you’ll be figuring out why a post tanked.

Some days,



you’ll be building a content calendar.

Some days, you’ll send a message saying, “Guys, I have an idea.”

We want all of it.

What you’ll do

Develop content ideas, formats and concepts for Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Write hooks, captions, scripts, posts and copy that sound human not like they came from a brand handbook.
Build and manage content calendars and ensure content goes out on time.
Work with designers, editors and strategists to take ideas from brief → execution → publish.
Manage day-to-day publishing and social media operations.
Monitor comments, DMs and conversations and help build communities around brands.
Keep a constant eye on internet culture, trends, creators, formats and conversations.
Know when a trend is worth jumping on and when a brand absolutely should not.
Support social campaigns, launches, activations and larger brand projects.
