Position: Project Incharge – Solar Rooftop

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Incharge – Solar Rooftop to manage end-to-end execution of rooftop solar projects in Visakhapatnam. The role will be responsible for project planning, site execution, vendor coordination, quality and safety, documentation, and effective coordination with the Electricity Board and other government authorities.
The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, hands-on knowledge of rooftop solar installation, and experience in managing vendors, contractors, customers, and electricity board processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute rooftop solar projects from project initiation to commissioning.
Prepare project schedules, execution plans, manpower requirements, and material plans.
Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate site surveys,



engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure timely completion and handover of projects.
Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues and take corrective actions.
Maintain project documentation, progress reports, checklists, and commissioning records.
Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
2. Vendor & Contractor Management
Identify, coordinate, and manage installation contractors, electrical contractors, suppliers, and other vendors.
Allocate work and monitor vendor performance at project sites.
Ensure availability and timely delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
Verify vendor work quality and adherence to project specifications.
Coordinate vendor billing, measurements, work completion, and documentation.
Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
