Role Description The Cashier role at VidUnit is a full time, on-site position based in Thane. In this role, the cashier will handle daily cash and card transactions, process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of all financial dealings. The cashier will balance cash drawers, reconcile transactions at the end of each shift, and ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.



Responsibilities include assisting customers with billing questions, resolving transaction discrepancies, and coordinating with the finance or operations team for reporting and documentation. The cashier will also support general front-desk activities as needed, maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach.
Qualifications
Strong numerical aptitude with proficiency in basic accounting or bookkeeping practices.
Experience handling cash, card, and digital payments, including reconciling daily transactions.
Solid customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and handle inquiries or concerns professionally.
Comfort using point-of-sale (POS) systems, billing software, and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, email tools).
High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized records.
