Role Description The Sales Officer role at Bajaj Finserv is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating leads, and promoting Bajaj Finserv’s financial products within assigned territories or channels. Daily responsibilities include meeting customers, explaining product features and benefits, managing sales documentation, and ensuring timely closure of sales opportunities.



The role also involves coordinating with channel partners, tracking sales performance, providing post-sales customer support, and adhering to compliance and quality standards. The Sales Officer is expected to work closely with the broader sales team to achieve individual and branch-level targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications

Robust Customer Service skills with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
Experience in Lead Generation and prospecting, including identifying potential customers and converting inquiries into sales opportunities.
Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and persuasively.
Knowledge of Sales Operations, including managing pipelines, documentation, and reporting on sales activities.
