We are looking for a Senior Oracle CPQ Technical Consultant to join the ERP technical team.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone with deep Oracle CPQ technical expertise. You will be responsible for investigating complex issues, debugging the platform, developing solutions, and supporting integrations across the wider enterprise environment.
The role is particularly suited to an experienced Oracle CPQ technical specialist who can take ownership of issues rather than relying on external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior-level technical support for Oracle CPQ.
Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex CPQ issues.
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Oracle CPQ customisations.
Work extensively with BML/BM Language.
Troubleshoot integrations between CPQ and other enterprise applications.
Work with APIs, web services and integration technologies.
Analyse logs, errors and system behaviour to identify root causes.
Develop technical fixes and enhancements.
Support production incidents and critical issues.
Work with external partners/vendors when escalation is required.
Identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions.
Provide technical guidance to other members of the CPQ support team.
Maintain clear technical documentation.
Essential Experience
Strong commercial experience with Oracle CPQ / Oracle CPQ Cloud.
Deep hands-on BML experience.
Strong Oracle CPQ development and customisation experience.
Experience debugging complex CPQ issues.
Experience with CPQ integrations and APIs.
Robust production support and troubleshooting experience.
Ability to perform detailed root-cause analysis.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
Desirable Experience
Oracle BigMachines.
Java / JavaScript.
REST / SOAP APIs.
ERP or CRM integrations.
Large enterprise Oracle CPQ environments.
Experience working with external Oracle CPQ support partners.
