Role Description This is a contract Fashion Designer role based in Gurugram with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The Fashion Designer will create seasonal collections, develop concepts and sketches, and translate ideas into detailed technical designs for high fashion garments. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting fabrics and trims, coordinating with textile and embroidery teams, overseeing fittings, and ensuring designs meet brand, quality,



and sustainability standards. The role also involves collaborating with merchandising and production teams to align designs with market trends and customer requirements, preparing design boards and samples for buyers, and providing timely revisions based on feedback.
Qualifications
Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and styling.
Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric types, surface treatments, and sustainable material options.
Proficiency in Embroidery design and application for high fashion garments.
Experience managing garment Fitting, including pattern adjustments and sample approvals.
Relevant qualification in Fashion Design or a related field from a recognized institute.
Ability to analyze trends and translate them into commercially viable designs for export and domestic markets.
