Sobtis Group is looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead and strengthen HR operations across our group businesses.
This is a group-level role for someone who can independently manage day-to-day HR operations, work closely with business/unit heads, and partner directly with the promoters as the organisation continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment across teaching, non-teaching, hospitality, administrative and support functions
Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, SOPs and processes across group businesses
Manage attendance, leave, employee records and HR documentation
Coordinate payroll, appraisals, increments and performance-management processes
Oversee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits and full & final settlements
Ensure adherence to applicable statutory and HR compliance requirements
Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary processes
Work closely with unit heads to address manpower and HR requirements




Drive employee engagement and help build a professional, accountable workplace culture
Establish greater standardisation and discipline in HR systems across the Group
Who We’re Looking For
6–10 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist / HR Operations role
MBA / PG qualification in HR or equivalent
Strong experience in recruitment, HR operations, employee relations and compliance
Experience with education, hospitality, real estate, multi-unit or promoter-driven organisations will be preferred
Strong communication, documentation and people-management skills
Comfortable working in a practical, execution-oriented environment
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function
Must be willing to work full time, on-site in Bareilly
