Our Intelligence Systems, Mission Systems team is looking for a Field Service Representative to provide Offsite Field Service support of Fiber-optic Data Multiplex System (FODMS) and Gigabit-Ethernet Data Multiplex System (GEDMS) naval network products. Candidate will provide support to equipment end user, collaborating with other deployed field service representatives at Bath Iron Works (BIW) shipyard, Bath, Maine. Applicants must be willing to travel to field locations and accept Domestic/International Temporary Assignments at offsite locations and be willing to provide periodic duration at-sea support on surface vessels.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with team members to provide technical support for the installation and integration of company products and user systems onboard naval vessels.
This will include working at remote sites domestically and abroad as a member of an installation team responsible for the installation, integration, and modification of equipment to meet customer requirements. Shipboard alteration experience desired as well as familiarity with shipyard procedures, safety and operations. Duties will include support with the physical installation of equipment as well as working with the customer and subcontractors to provide onsite documentation of installed systems. The team members will also provide recommendations for future modifications/enhancements for installation and operation.
