This is a hands-on role with significant ownership across People Operations, HR processes, hiring, performance management, employee experience and culture.

Role Overview
The HR Generalist will own day-to-day HR operations while helping mple.ai build a strong foundation across:
HR policies and compliance
Employee documentation
Performance management
Employee engagement and culture
Hiring and interview processes
Onboarding and employee experience
Feedback mechanisms
Exit processes
Organization structure and HR reporting
Employee communication and internal initiatives

The ideal candidate should be process-oriented but people-centric,



comfortable working in a fast-growing startup and capable of balancing employee experience with the organization's interests.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Policies
Review existing HR policies and identify gaps.
Improve and standardize policies to protect both the organization and employees.
Maintain policies related to leave, attendance, work-from-home, performance, code of conduct, disciplinary processes, confidentiality, etc.
Ensure employees acknowledge and understand significant policies.
Maintain proper HR records and documentation.
Work with management on HR-related compliance requirements.
2. Employee Documentation & HR Operations
Own the complete employee documentation lifecycle:
Offer letters
Employment agreements
NDAs and confidentiality agreements
Joining documentation
Employee personal and statutory records
Policy acknowledgements
Performance documentation
Promotion / salary revision documentation
Exit documentation
Full & final settlement coordination
Ensure employee file
