Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SOC Analyst (L2) with 4–6 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Splunk, SIEM monitoring, incident investigation, and cybersecurity operations. The role involves analyzing security events, responding to incidents, performing threat hunting, and supporting continuous improvement of security monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts generated by SIEM tools, primarily Splunk.
Perform in-depth analysis of security incidents and determine appropriate containment, eradication, and recovery actions.
Conduct triage and investigation of alerts related to malware, phishing, endpoint threats, network attacks, and suspicious activities.
Escalate critical incidents to L3 teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective incident resolution.




Perform log analysis and correlate events from multiple security technologies.
Develop and fine-tune Splunk searches, dashboards, alerts, and correlation rules to improve threat detection.
Participate in threat hunting activities using available security tools and threat intelligence.
Analyze Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Indicators of Attack (IOAs).
Create and maintain incident reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident documentation.
Ensure adherence to incident response processes, SLAs, and security best practices.
Recommend improvements to SOC processes, detection use cases, and monitoring capabilities.
Support security audits and compliance initiatives as required.

Required Skills:

4–6 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise/Splunk ES.
Positive understanding of SIEM concepts, log management, and event correlation.
