Role Description
The Buyer role at ZECODE India is a full-time, on-site position for womenwear category based in the HO at Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The Buyer is responsible for identifying and sourcing womenswear fashion products that align with the brand’s aesthetic, price point, and target audience.
Day-to-day tasks include analyzing sales and market trends, reviewing vendor proposals, negotiating prices and terms, and placing purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
The Buyer collaborates closely with design,



merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure collections are cohesive, timely, and appealing to customers.
The role also involves monitoring product performance, managing supplier relationships, and continuously seeking recent styles and innovations that reflect ZECODE’s experimental and expressive fashion code.

Qualifications
Strong skills in merchandising, assortment planning, and trend analysis, with the ability to translate fashion trends into commercially viable product selections.
Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing, including building and maintaining ethical, cost-effective supplier relationships.
Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management using spreadsheets and relevant buying or ERP tools.
Knowledge of fashion retail, consumer behavior, and pricing strategies, ideally within youth-oriented or fast-fashion segments.
