We work closely with designers, manufacturers and craftsmen to take products from an initial idea through prototyping and into production. As we continue to develop our product range, we’re looking for someone who enjoys being involved in both design and making.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Designer Associate to work closely with our design and production teams.
The role involves getting hands-on with different stages of product development — from assisting with design and prototypes to coordinating production and ensuring the final product meets our quality standards.
What You’ll Work On
Assist with product design and development
Support prototyping and design iterations
Prepare and maintain production drawings and documentation
Assist with production planning and coordination
Work with vendors, workshops and craftsmen
Help with material and finish selection
Conduct quality checks during production and assembly
Identify production issues and help find practical design solutions
Support the team in improving products and production processes
What We’re Looking For
A background or experience in product, industrial, furniture, interior or related design
Strong interest in physical products and manufacturing
Good understanding of materials, dimensions and detailing
Attention to detail and an eye for quality
Comfortable working between design development and production
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Fusion 360 or similar is helpful
Hands-on experience with woodworking, furniture making or fabrication is a strong advantage
