About Tobbo
Tobbo is building a new consumer social product from the ground up.
We’re looking for a hands-on Founding Full-Stack Mobile App Engineer who can take end-to-end technical ownership of building the product — from backend architecture and APIs to mobile frontend, infrastructure and production deployment.
This is not a frontend-only role. You should be comfortable building the backend and APIs yourself, not just integrating APIs developed by someone else.
What You’ll Build
Design and build the backend and APIs — not just integrate existing APIs.
Design databases, data models, authentication, authorization and core application logic.
Build the mobile frontend for iOS and Android using Flutter or React Native.
Turn product designs and user flows into fast, polished and responsive mobile experiences.
Build feeds, user interactions, notifications, real-time functionality and other consumer-social features.
Integrate frontend, backend, databases, Firebase,



storage, analytics and third-party services.
Make technical and architectural decisions around scalability, performance, security and reliability.
Build real-time systems using WebSockets or similar technologies where required.
Set up cloud infrastructure and production environments.
Implement testing, logging, monitoring and error handling.
Set up and maintain CI/CD.
Deploy and maintain the application in production.
Handle Google Play Store and Apple App Store releases.
Debug and resolve production issues independently.
Work directly with the founder and product team to turn product requirements into shipped features.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience with Flutter or React Native.
Robust mobile frontend development and application architecture skills.
Proven ability to design and build backend systems and APIs using Node.js/Express, FastAPI, Django, Spring Boot or equivalent technologies.
