Role Description

Host360 is looking for curious and technically driven 3rd-year engineering students to join our Platform Engineering team as Platform Engineer Interns.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about cloud infrastructure by exploring emerging technologies, validating innovative ideas through hands-on experimentation, and transforming technical concepts into market-ready products using AI Tools and self-learning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Technology Discovery & Innovation
Research and evaluate emerging technologies across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes ecosystem, storage, networking, virtualization, DevOps, and SRE tooling
Track industry trends, open-source innovations, and hyperscaler advancements to identify opportunities for competitive differentiation
Assess technologies for scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and operational impact before recommending adoption
Stay ahead of the curve on cloud-native architectures, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code best practices

2. Proof of Concept (POC) Development & Prototyping
Design and implement rapid POCs to validate new ideas and technical hypotheses
Build reference architectures, experimental labs, and prototype environments
Benchmark performance, reliability, cost, and operational complexity
